Biography:

Bhuwan Thapaliya has been featured in several poetry magazines worldwide. His poetry CD’s, Rhythm of the Heartand Waltz of Love were published by Rowe Publishing.

Writing is not a hobby for him. It’s the way of his life. It is not the transient desire of his mind but the eternal desire of his heart.

He has cherished only one desire and goal that by the messages of his poems he may become instrumental in mitigating the woes and miseries of mankind. With this humanitarian zeal he has engaged himself day and night wholeheartedly in this primordial branch of literature called poetry.

Bhuwan Thapaliya is eminently qualified both as an Oriental and as an Occidental poet, for his poetry truly marries the traditions of East and West, and in a way which is immediately appealing and cohesive. Bhuwan has a special touch, a sensibility few poets ever master, that of being able to harmonize East and West in a singular World vision, which in many ways imaginatively mirrors the very spirit of his natal land, Nepal. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's degree in Finance from the University of London (External Programmes), resides in Nepal, and is interested in politics and society.
