Biography:

Kathleen has been performing her poetry in Austin, Texas for three years. She has been featured poet at: Expressions, Mojo's, The Hideout, Nuevo Onda, World Beat Cafe, Panama Jacks, and in Austin's SXSW festival, at Cafe Mundi. For the past two years, Kathleen has been a featured poet at Lemasa's Forrest Fest, poetry festival. She has been published on many publications nationally, and in: "Cream", on line magazine, Canada, as well as, "Out of the Drawer Poetry", Australia. Most recently in "Voices" magazine, "Spirit of Strength", print version. She did the cover art for "Austin poets for Peace" - book 1, and book 2: now in the Austin History Museum; and has done cover work, and illustration, for several local publishing companies. A portrait by Kathleen has appeared in the, Austin Chronicle newspaper, and one in the, Creative Pulse magazine. Say It Loud magazine did an article on Kathleen and her artwork in February of this year.

Kathleen's avocations include: Tai-Chi, Samurai Saber Form, Middle Eastern Dance, and Tribal Dance.
