Biography:
"My name is Patricia Isabella Byron and I am artist who has spent many years living and traveling throughout Europe, Turkey, and Iran. During my travels I became so captivated by the natural beauty that surrounded me, I decided to paint and write about it.
While living in Tehran, Iran I was a contributing writer for the Foreign Women Associations newsletter, attended Tehran University School of Persian Studies & Culture, and was an active member of the British Library Ladies group. "
“As an artist I strive to interpret my visions of tranquility from brush to canvas. With the challenging medium of watercolor, I am intrigued with the movement & dimensional complexity that can form. With my ever changing style I am now creating in a broader scope with acrylic. Through my paintings I aim to release a lyrical, almost poetic introspective journey where the visual meets the emotional.
Overall, I am grateful to have experienced my travels and encounters with diverse cultures, for without them I would not have emerged as an artist or writer."
A native of Florida, Patricia Isabella Byron is a self taught artist who has also received two Editor’s Choice Awards from the International Library of Poetry.
