Biography:

Pooneh Jafarinejad, the Iranian contemporary artist, has been studying and professionally practicing painting and fashion designing for more than a decade now. In her rise to excellence, she has worked with a variety of colors and subject matters, but the creativity and the inner passion implied by every stroke of the brush has remained intact.

Pooneh's works has been put on displays in a number of exhibitions both in Iran and abroad. She has been honored three times, with an Honorary Award for Painting in 1998 (LA, CA, USA), Certificate of 'Best of Show Awards', World Contemporary Art in 1999 (LA, CA, USA), and Certificate of Honor for the Best Persian Design Collection from the Italian Embassy's Fashion Show in 1999 (Tehran, Iran).
