Biography:
I suppose the best
description of Ran's production to date
would be diverse multi-media. He has become
internationally known for his creative
advertising campaigns, graphic art, book
design, photography, new media and of course
his vibrantly colourful expressionist paintings.
Advertising In the
1980and's Ran was a managing partner of
Ideas and Solutions
a full service boutique advertising agency
in Detroit Michgan. Over a four year
involvment he worked on numerous accounts
in the eighth
largest market in the United States.
Graphic Art and Book Design Over the years
numerous
graphic art ventures have come and gone
including magazine layout and design,
posters, cd covers and media packaging.
He held
the position of production coordinator
for Breakwater Books, where he was
responsible for design and production of
all trade
and educational books and promotional
materials. His work can be seen on the

Ran
is concentrating
now on establishing a studio to produce
fine art in St. Johnand's Newfoundland.
Atelier Ran currently consists of
a multi-media digital studio, a painting
studio, gallery and a small sculpture
studio.

From April 20 1998 to April 20,
2002, Ran was the creator and designer
of informatron.com.
The scheduled
four year independent new media project
successfully drew to a close. The site
drew in excess
of 3.5 million visits and was honoured
to have beeen nominated in the
prestigious 'webs most entertaining' website
category
of the Streamers 99 Award for Excellence
in Streaming Media. Independent
media
Now ended Ran was under an agreement
with Troma
Entertainment, (the oldest independent
film studio in the world) to provide
new media content and as a partner
in the now
suspended Tromaville.com the virtual
city of cutting edge independent media. " Thanks
